友人に”ベトナムの水曜日”みたいなT-shirtsを描いてくれって頼まれて結構頭を抱えていたい。結果はこれです。
My friend asked me to paint a T-shirt with “Wednesday in Vietnam” as the theme. It took me a while but I did it!

Sixpack

この絵はシックスパックと読んでいる。友人と昼間から飲んで残った缶をキャンバスにして見ました。
左は日が昇る
真ん中は昼間
右は夜
ちょっと分かりにくいかなー＝）
I call this the “sixpack”. Some friends came over for a lunch and we drank a sixpack. So I thought using the beer can as canvas is a pretty nice way of painting.
It goes from morning on the left
Mid-day in the middle
And evening on the right
It is difficult to capture in a photo….

Sun Flower

ひまわりはきれいだよね。しかも人間と一緒に朝起きて日を追って生きているの。それで夜になったら眠って繰り返す。
The sunflower, just like man, rises with the sun and follows it across the horizon. Then we go to sleep and start all over again.

青い太陽は真冬しか昇らない。きれいだけどパワーや温かさがないからこそ少し悲しい。
The beautiful but quite sad blue sun only rises on the coldest days of winter.
